The stars exhale as the skin breathes in the night air
Stuffing pins n needles into the leather soul
too rough for too long,
nothing could break this.
and so my aching lungs receive
and I bathe in the earth’s movement:
sinking dipping diving sliding
the pain of beauty reminds me
the blood may fade but the heart will remain
no time to have my mind made up
the winds are changing, again.
